Who we are

LexoGraphix Plus is a publishing and creative solutions business based in The Gambia, working with writers, authors and organisations.

What these terms cover

They cover your use of this website and anything you send us through it. They do not govern work we carry out for you — that is covered by a separate written agreement, described below.

This website is information, not an offer

Nothing on this site is a contract or a binding offer. Service descriptions tell you what we do; they do not commit us to taking on a particular project, and we may decline work.

Prices and quotes

One price is published on this site: Typesetting & Book Design from GMD 2,500. It is a starting point, not a quote. What a book actually costs depends on its length, its format and how much preparation the manuscript still needs.

Every other price is quoted individually. We put the scope and the cost in writing and agree them with you before any work starts. You will not receive an invoice for something you did not agree to.

Digital editions

Some books may offer a one-time digital purchase. The checkout page shows the book, price and currency before you continue to Modem Pay's hosted payment page. Access is added to your reader account only after LexoCore receives and verifies the provider's successful payment notification; returning from the payment page alone does not complete a purchase.

Digital editions are for the reader account used at checkout. They are online reading access, not a promise of a downloadable PDF or EPUB. Any refund, cancellation or access-revocation terms that apply to a live title will be shown or agreed before production launch and should be reviewed by the Operations Lead.

Sending us a manuscript

You keep your copyright. Sending us your work gives us no ownership of it and no right to publish it. We read it to advise you and to do the work you ask for, nothing else.

We treat unpublished work as confidential. It is not shared outside the people working on your project, and it is not quoted, published or circulated without your written permission.

When you submit, you confirm that:

• the work is yours, or you have the right to send it to us;
• it does not infringe anyone else's copyright, and any material you did not write is properly cleared or credited;
• you are happy for us to read it in order to advise you.

We may decline a submission without giving reasons. Sending a manuscript does not oblige us to take the project on, and does not oblige you to proceed.

Work we carry out for you

Any engagement is governed by a written agreement issued and signed before work begins. It sets out the scope, the cost, what each side is responsible for, and what happens to the files at the end. Where these website terms and that agreement differ, the signed agreement wins.

What we need from you

• Accurate information. We quote against what you tell us, so if the manuscript turns out to be twice the length described, the quote will change.
• The right to use anything you supply — images, quotations, foreword text, cover artwork. If you do not hold those rights, tell us and we will find another way.
• Timely approvals. Proofs need your sign-off, and nothing is finalised without it.

This website's own content

The text, design, artwork and code of this site belong to LexoGraphix Plus. You are welcome to read, print and share pages. Please do not copy the site's design or content for use in a competing business.

Books, titles and author names shown on this site remain the property of their authors and are shown with permission.

Links to other sites

Where we link elsewhere, we are not responsible for what is on the other end. Those sites have their own terms.

Availability and accuracy

We keep this site accurate and available, but we do not guarantee it will be uninterrupted or error-free. If something on the site is wrong, tell us and we will correct it.

If a form here fails to reach us — it can happen — please email us directly rather than assume the message arrived. Every form on this site tells you when it has not gone through.

Changes

These terms may change. The date at the top of this page changes with them, and the version in force when you send us something is the one that applies to it.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of The Gambia, and disputes fall to the courts of The Gambia.
