A digital home for writers and their work
Bpubz is a publishing house, not a self-service upload tool. Writers bring the manuscript; we handle everything between it and the reader.
Publishing has never been easier to do badly. Anyone can upload a file. Far fewer people can edit a manuscript, design a cover that earns a second look, typeset a book that is comfortable to read, and get it in front of the people who want it.
That gap is what Bpubz exists to close. We take submissions from independent and emerging writers, and where we think a piece of work deserves readers, we publish it properly — with an editor, a designer and a production process behind it.
We are especially interested in emerging African voices, and in writing that would struggle to find a home in a market organised around what sold last year.
How it works
From manuscript to reader
01You submit
One form and one file. No formatting requirements, no account, no fee. You keep the copyright.
02We read it
A real editor reads every submission — no automated screening. You get a reference number immediately and a decision by email.
03We produce it
Editing, cover design, typesetting and proofing, handled in-house by people who do this for a living.
04You approve
Nothing is published until you've read the proof and signed it off. Your approval is recorded against that exact version.
