INTRODUCTION
Praise be to the Almighty Allah. May His peace and blessings be upon His final Prophet, Muhammad (ﷺ), and upon his family.
The term fragile barriers refers to the obstacles — both internal and external — that shape a person’s experiences. These include psychological defences against overwhelming sensory input, fears, and anxieties, especially those tied to connections that are easily broken. Fragile barriers also represent the physical and emotional walls that hinder vulnerability and affect every aspect of one’s life.
This concept extends to the challenges embedded within society, institutions, and religious environments. It explores how these hurdles can be addressed through preservation, empathy, consistency, justice, accountability, and authenticity. The goal of fragile barriers is to dismantle harmful attitudes, ignorance, and deviations from purpose while promoting social cohesion, authentic leadership, and steadfastness on one’s chosen path.
