The Clouds That Shed Tears
On a Monday mourning
But still Monday morning
The sky showed massive clouds
The resemblance of a rainy season
Precipitation was so inevitable though toxic
Fog or frizzle or mog?
Not "cat and dog"
The crowd reacted to the drizzle so loud
Unlike the previous generation, so soon
The rains came in that epoch; perhaps
An early season
Rainstorms are so dear to dry deserts
Species must make noise like experts
The clouds disbursed their misery
The rain came with a mystery
Expert predictions suggest drought
This is the tears the clouds cried
And experts are querying the reality
Of the rainfall; the crops are facing aridity
But these tears are all the clouds shed
This news was what I was well fed
But, what about this distraught?
