Pupils
Young and meagre they sit
Big and strong they view
To be groomed and bloomed
Knowledge is power
Know it is the highway to success
Academia to be enrolled with the brightest
The weakest wouldn't survive the passage
They can't comprehend the message
The task isn't easy to accomplish
They often pronounced it complex
Even though others taste it like sugar and tea
The task cannot look the same to various pupils
How tricky it looks to this pupil?
To write a name is impossible
To answer a question for him is horrible
From the voice of a national asset he listens
To learn materials of foreign lands
Lamented in foreign tongues
Borrowed ropes tie the facilitators' necks
They are compelled to meet
The instructional hours
They are compelled to meet the contact hours
Is it not where the problems lie?
For the mass failure, I argue no!
The authorities turning on chairs in offices could be the greatest factor
They are unconcerned about the welfare of teachers
Transmitters of priceless knowledge
To raise awareness and empowerment for national development
Potential duty bearers
Thus our future leaders
Who are endangered species at the very young age?
If I take it easy
My heart wouldn't contain it fairly
My duty is to prepare, mould, jacket
And protect them from all devastating consequences
A duty I love doing daily.
