Dedication

This book is dedicated to every child whose voice has been silenced by fear, culture, or injustice.

To girls whose pain is hidden in the name of “peace,” and to boys who suffer in silence, may your stories one day be heard, believed, and protected. To all survivors of abuse carrying invisible scars, and to every brave soul who chooses to speak when silence feels easier—may you find justice and healing. It is also dedicated to parents, teachers, social workers, and community leaders who continue to stand for the protection and dignity of children. May we never tire in the pursuit of a safer world for every child.

In memory of the late Yunusa Mbye, a friend who became a brother, this work honors his life and calls for justice without compromise or silence. May he rest in eternal peace, and may those left behind find strength and comfort.

Finally, it is dedicated to the late Vice President, Mr. Alieu Badara Joof, whose words remain a guiding reminder: “It is right to do what is right, to get it right, and we have to get it right by doing what is right.”

In that spirit, this book stands for one truth: protecting children is always the right thing to do, and justice must never be silenced.
